Mr. Koenig’s expertise is focused on construction law, real estate law and professional liability. He is the founder of Koenig Law Firm PC and is widely recognized and respected in his areas of legal expertise. Mr. Koenig has extensive experience in meeting the special needs of architects, engineers, contractors, other design professionals, real estate agents/brokers and in the handling of general civil litigation matters. Mr. Koenig’s forte is negotiating, reviewing and drafting client contracts, transactional matters and resolving complex construction, real estate and business disputes.
Mr. Koenig’s excellent superior court jury trial record defending architects, engineers, contractors, and his familiarity with the local bench, mediators and bar, facilitates the expedient and economical resolution of disputes. Mr. Koenig is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and he has successfully tried and won 12 cases in the last five years.
Mr. Koenig is legal counsel to several of the leading companies in Southern California including A&E firms, real estate companies, retail companies and is approved panel counsel by numerous insurance companies. Randy gained valuable experience working with his father, internationally recognized architect Pierre Koenig, who designed the iconic Case Study House No. 22, and was a Distinguished Professor of Architecture at the University of Southern California for 50 years.
